Getting rid of acne is not difficult. I began having acne problems when I entered my teenage years, which people say is normal. But even though it may seem ordinary and it could happen to people same as my age, it was still very frustrating having to go through high school with pimples and breakouts. I didn’t want to just feel okay about it, so I seek for effective ways on getting rid of acne.

First, I tried several acne home remedies. I figured out that maybe because they are natural, they won’t irritate my skin. But what it did was actually make the acne worse.

I tried several natural treatments like garlic application, tomato juice solution, and many more. But each one of them just left my skin very itchy and irritated. I actually had more breakouts after trying them. I thought that maybe these remedies are not good for my skin.

That’s when I turned into commercialized acne treatments, which is another way of getting rid of acne.

I read from the internet that any acne treating product containing Benzoyl Peroxide is effective into treating acne. It has oxygen ingredient which kills the formation of bacteria in the pimples. I tried it out, and fortunately, it was really effective.

It was the most reliable type pimple treatment I found, which I still use today. I now have an acne free skin and I can always be confident with other people and not feel frustrated anymore. For sure, I will be using products with Benzoyl Peroxide on my skin for it to be forever free from acne. I have developed acne scars from my old pimples before, and I used some acne scar removals which really work.

My personal suggestion is that we all should know how to get rid of zits upon their first formation because they may later cause acne cyst. Good news is there are so many acne creams in getting rid of acne.

There is really no need for us to spend too much on treating acne. All we need to do is find the best natural remedies that are proven to be effective. I am using several natural acne solutions at home that really work for my skin. They don’t have the irritating ingredients like some of the commercialized products have. I will name some of the few natural remedies for acne that I personally use.

Lemon Cure

I always find this natural solution very effective in treating acne pimples. For this, I just make a regular lemon juice recipe and then use it to wash my face. The Vitamin C that is in the lemon makes my skin pimple free with continues use.

Garlic

This is probably one of the most effective and fastest-curing natural remedies for acne. Whenever I have unnecessary breakouts, I just take a clove of garlic and then cut it in half. After that, I apply the garlic onto my pimple with light upward strokes. It can be a little stingy, but it is a very effective way to cure acne fast. My pimples were cured just overnight after I applied garlic.

Cucumber

For me, this is the mildest of all acne remedies. I just slice the cucumbers and then apply them onto my face leaving it for around fifteen minutes. It not only cures my pimples, but also leaves my skin fresh and rejuvenated.

Orange Peel

This is another at home acne treatment that I have proven to be a really effective pimple treatment. Again, it has vitamin C that kills the bacteria in the acne. It is also mild for the skin and leaves it with zero irritations. It was effective enough to cure the acne redness on my face.

Using these natural acne and pimple cures are just as effective as the sold products in the market. For sure, they will work on you as well.

Those are all the effective natural remedies for acne that I personally use which I have proven to be safe and effective.

Three Tips to Getting Rid of Acne Naturally

Getting rid of acne is not as difficult as it may seem.

In fact, all you have to do is to drop by your favorite grocery store, pick up some ingredients…and you’ll have exactly what you need to reduce acne to nothing!

Anyway, here are my 3 top tips to get rid of acne fast:

1. Apply tea tree oil on your face. This is my absolute favorite! It’s economical, natural and most importantly… proven by research that it contains antibacterial properties to help fight against any bacteria – even those that are commonly causing acne.

Plus, I personally love the aroma of tea tree oil so I suggest you to get it as well.

2. Drink more water. Our body is made up of 70% water and there’s a reason for that: Science says our body relies on water as a medium for transporting nutrients around our body…and removing toxins from our body (through urine).

So if your body is deprived of sufficient water, toxins will accumulate in your body and be forced to be excreted through your skin (which may lead to severe acne if they get “stuck” between your pores).

Personally, I drink at least 8 glasses of water each day to keep my body and skin hydrated. This could be the easiest way to getting rid of acne naturally.

3. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Here’s where the saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” came from. But it’s not just apples that you need to take – you need vegetables as well.

It’s always been a fact that vegetables and fruits contain the necessary nutrition that is required by your body’s immune system (to fight diseases) and the skin (to remove pimples).

Personally besides doing my best to have at least one serving of vegetables each meal… I also drink cucumber juice singly or blended with either carrot or lettuce early in the morning. It is said to improve acne conditions and I find it to be a refreshing mix.

These are some of the tips that I’ve been following with great results (no pimples yet!).

That’s it for now… Stay tuned and in the next few days, I’ll be adding more tips on getting rid of acne and how to stop acne from coming back.
